This little pink flowered heart is quick and easy to make. I used a size 5 hook, and 28 gauge fine silver wire to create this.

chain 10 and slip stitch to join. begin with chain 1, make 1 dc in first stitch, 1dc 1tc 1dc, in next, and in each of the follow 1dc, 1sc 1sc, 1 dc (you just made the first half. ) continue around reversing the pattern, 1sc, 1 sc, 1dc, 1dc 1tc 1dc in same stitch, 1dc, and end with a slip stitch. clip and weave in excess wire.

Because you are working with wire, you can open the stitches, move them about and with gentle pulling or pushing in, you can shape the heart. it will hold it's shape.

You then can decorate the heart, I used czech crystal flowers and leaves. Add a jump ring to the top and it is ready to hang from a chain or earwires.

Hi I'm the one who conned Karen into trying wire, and would be happy to help with that section of the website. Please let me know what I can do to help. Karen was really special to me.

Who better to help answer questions, and help maintain this area. I'm not much into wire crochet so I'm glad to have Pat's  expert help on this section. Thanks Pat!
